Americans are working less hard than in previous years. They
are also spending the time off doing things which are pleasurable and relaxing.

The typical working American puts in about 7.8 hours at
work, and when they have time off spend it watching TV. In fact, the employed
person spends a little less than 3 hours per day or evening watching
television. Americans are also sleeping more which is good news for overall
health. KH Direct Media notes that men take more time to chill than women,
according to a recent survey. Woman get about 5 hours of leisure time to men’s almost
6 hours.
It may be interesting to know that Americans have cut back
how much they spend on education, shopping for non-essential items, calling
friends and family on the phone or in email. Workers are also getting more time
to work from home with older employees gaining the most from that type of arrangement.
Everyone needs time to get some R&R and watching TV is a
favorite way to do that. It is also a smart avenue to consider when marketing a
new product or service. Solve a problem or find a new solution for one. The
