Be you. Simply put this means be genuine. Don’t get wrapped up in the hype of launching a business. Not plan to become the next social media star. Just be the real honest you. People have an incredible ability to spot a phony from miles away. Be true.

Stay healthy and get some rest. It’s okay to break away from the business to go to the gym, a child’s baseball game or for a vacation. Successful entrepreneurs don’t clock 80+ hours per week. A good example: Mark Zuckerberg. He reportedly works only 50 hours a week. Get away from the business for a while.

Know when to cut losses. If a business strategy is not working the way it was expected to then change gears and try something else. It’s one thing to have gritty determination and another to keep hammering away thinking things will change. They probably won’t.
